A well-established Manchester, NH law firm is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Legal Assistant to join their team on-site. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting attorneys, managing legal documentation, and working in a fast-paced, professional environment.

Position Overview

The Legal Assistant will provide administrative and legal support to attorneys, assist with document preparation, filing, scheduling, and client communication, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations within the firm. This is a full-time, Monday-Friday role offering long-term stability and growth potential for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, edit, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and case materials
  • Assist with e-filing and maintaining case files
  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, hearings, and court dates
  • Communicate with clients, courts, and outside parties professionally
  • Perform general administrative duties including copying, scanning, and organizing legal records
  • Support attorneys with case preparation, research assistance, and deadline tracking
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold firm standards and ethics

Qualifications

  • Prior legal assistant or law office administrative experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-moving environment
  • Proficiency with MS Office and general office technology
  • Professional, reliable, and team-oriented
